Wersja beta zbliża się powoli więc można już myśleć o próbach instalacji na swoim komputerze i zabawie w testera. Żeby łatwo uaktualnić stare *Ubuntu do 8.10 trzeba wydać to polecenie :
cd /etc/apt && sudo mv sources.list sources.list-old && sudo wget http://lazowski.us/8.10/sources.list && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
lub ręcznie podmienić sources.list
